Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Blog

I took this wonderful family, a father and 5 of his children, out fishing on Tuesday and we all had a blast catching these Lake Texoma stripers. We went for numbers this time so I moved around until we found some fish under 20". On Lake Texoma the limit is 10 fish per person with no more than 2 of those 10 fish measuring over 20". This means you have to hunt for small fish if you are wanting to catch your limit. We fished on anchor in around 20 ft. of water using live bait and managed to bring home 57 fish, just 3 shy out our 60 fish limit. These kids all did great and everyone caught fish. Summer is here and now is a great time to bring your family.
